Nova Scotia International Students Program (NSISP) and Saint Mary’s Partnership
Saint Mary’s University welcomes and encourages Nova Scotia International Student Program (NSISP) graduates to stay in Nova Scotia for their post-secondary studies by offering tuition incentives.
Students graduating from a Nova Scotia high school through the NSISP (in the 2023-24 academic year and beyond) are eligible to receive the Canadian domestic out-of-province tuition rate for the entirety of their undergraduate studies at Saint Mary’s University – an estimated overall savings of more than $50,000 (CAD).
New Brunswick International Students Program (NBISP) and Saint Mary’s Partnership
Saint Mary’s University welcomes and encourages New Brunswick International Student Program (NBISP) graduates to study in Nova Scotia for their post-secondary studies by offering tuition incentives.
Students graduating from a New Brunswick high school through the NBISP (in the 2023-24 academic year and beyond) are eligible to receive a tuition reduction of $1,000 (CAD) per 3-credit hour course, for the entirety of their undergraduate studies at Saint Mary’s University – an estimated overall savings of $40,000 (CAD).
Canadian Association of Independent Schools (CAIS) and Saint Mary’s Partnership
Saint Mary’s University welcomes and encourages international students graduating from a CAIS-accredited school to study in Nova Scotia for their post-secondary studies by offering tuition incentives.
International students graduating from a CAIS-accredited school (in the 2023-24 academic year and beyond) are eligible to receive a tuition reduction of $1,000 (CAD) per 3-credit hour course, for the entirety of their undergraduate studies at Saint Mary’s University – an estimated overall savings of $40,000 (CAD).
United World College (UWC)-Saint Mary’s University Tuition Award (Effective September 2025)
Non-Canadian citizens or permanent residents graduating from a United World College are eligible for:
- $1,000 CAD/course tuition reduction off the international rate for any undergraduate degree or engineering diploma at Saint Mary’s University. Valid for the duration of the undergraduate degree or engineering diploma.
- No separate application required—available to all admitted UWC graduates with a valid Canadian study permit.
- Students are responsible for remaining tuition and fees.
- Maximum value: up to $40,000 CAD over a 120-credit degree.
- IB Diploma holders may receive up to 42 advanced credits.
